Mystical Glastonbury

A magical morning in Glastonbury, hanging out with my son while we waited for his car to be fitted with a new alternator. It was thick mist in western Somerset early this morning, but by the time we reached Glastonbury the famous Tor on the edge of town was bathed in sunshine.

What a colourful town it is, with so many of the buildings painted in lurid colours, and so many of the shops selling hippy-type clothing, crystals and mystical artefacts. This end-of-building street art caught my eye. In its entirety, it read: 'too much of anything can be wonderful".

I was also amused by the local bakery. Its name? Burns the Bread!
