Somerset sunset

Spent an nteresting morning touring the Honda car factory at Swindon. I always find it fascinating to see components being so efficiently manufactured into a car. Having watched two 'associates', as Honda calls its production workers, carefully installing engines from below up into the under-bonnet bay of each embryonic car as it comes along the line, it seems a minor miracle when a test driver fires the engine of a completed vehicle for the first time, and drives it off the end of the production line.

Then this afternoon was spent driving newly updated versions of the Honda Civic and CR-V, so a very action-packed and useful day.

As I was already a long way west, I came to Somerset to spend the evening with my son and daughter-in-law. This was the beautiful evening glow across the field at the back of their house.
