Karting Grand Prix

Vroom vroom! An adrenaline rush of an afternoon and evening. It was the day of the Southern Group of Motoring Writers' annual Karting Grand Prix, and what a highly-charged, fiercely-fought and fun event.

It was the third time we have organised this intensely competitive gathering of motor industry PR chums, with some fast racing fuelled by non-stop supplies of pizza!

The winning team was Ford, with Fiat second and Kia third. All in a good cause too, we raised over £4,000 for our chosen local charity, Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust.
