Ruthin Gaol - Looking Up

The Pentonville Wing in Ruthin Gaol is designed on the prison in London  and  set up so that inmates were kept separate from each other and often isolated for long periods. They were also required to carry out tedious, repetitive task during daylight hours.

Today the gaol is a tourist attraction and this shot shows the Pentonville wing as you are Looking Up from the first floor. On the two walkways you can see the individual cells, each with a separate numbers on them.
