Tina

Today I planted up what was formerly the fruit and herb garden with runner beans, tomatoes, corgettes and peppers. I replanted the window boxes and cleared another piece of garden border. It does not sound much, but it took four hours.

This is Tina relaxing in the wheelbarrow before being moved. Mr A made her a long time ago out of recycled materials, food tins, yogurt pots and paint tins; this is why she is called Tina. She was living in the fruit and herb garden and needs re-painting and new hands and feet; the wheelbarrow needed new handles. Mr A welded the new handles onto the wheelbarrow, but has not yet had time to sort out Tina. She will eventually live in the big vegetable garden and was made to frighten the deer and birds; she is not very successful at scaring them.
