Sunny and warm at last

I walked around town this lunch-time and it was lovely weather for the first time in what seems like an eternity. As I was taking this picture a busker started up nearby. Oxford has a particularly good class of busker and this young woman, who I suspect may be a music student at the University, has a superb voice. She was singing Voi che sapete, from the Marriage of Figaro, one of my Desert Island Discs, and she did it beautifully. Somehow it was the perfect piece of music for that moment, and looking at this picture brings it back.
