'Splash on board Liquid Desire'

Backblip.

We've been trying to contact Anthony the skipper of Liquid Desire to see if we could arrange a trip out from Port Douglas on this magnificent 51 foot yacht. Our phone reception out in the Daintree is non existent, so I had to drive up to the top of the hill near the Discovery centre to make an early morning call. Finally caught up with him and he said he was heading out at 9:00am and he would wait for us to get there.

Quickly headed back to our lodge to pick up MsMun, skipped breakfast and hot footed it to Port Douglas. We arrived at 9:20am, boarded and we set sail within 5 or 10 minutes.

This is Anthony's dog Splash, who lives on board with him. Such a great dog.

Anthony is the son of a client of ours at work, and his dad had arranged for us to meet up with him to go for a sail. Anthony's currently in the final stages of arranging his accreditation to be able to run private charters out to the Great Barrier Reef. Might have to go back when he's all organised.

We arrived back after a few hours of sailing and had lunch at the Hog's Breath Cafe on the pier before heading back to the Daintree for the afternoon. We both ended up with headaches and I feel I might have had a bit of heat stroke. Payed down and slept for a few hours in the arvo before having a wonderful dinner in the on site restaurant.
