Not a pretty sight!

Three and a half legs ( you can only see two and a half here) and just starting his spring moult, this is Hop-along! I was so happy to see him. Every year I think that he must have been shot in the autumn when the hunters are allowed to cull the weak or old deer but he is back with a harem of 4 females tonight. He can even jump fences, no idea how he manages to do that but I saw him once a couple of years ago.
