Day of 2 halves

Another mixed day, I dediced that we should go to Applecross over the pass.

Set off in mixed weather, stopped off at various shops for female retail therapy. Drove up the Bealach and stopped at the top car park at 2053 feet. The kids and I got out and had a snowball fight for a while as the mist slowly blew past.

Dropped in Applecross and decided to drive round the coast road.

Stopped at this place as the passing weather was superb, this is a passing shower over half or Raasay, you can see Dun Caan(the flat peak of Raasay).

Round the corner we stopped off and played on a beach for a while, collected razor shells and the kids took a fancy to a boulder that they dragged to the car by various means.

Just up the road we spotted a cyclinderical trig point by the road, so the kids and I ran to the top to bag a trig point.

What a fantastic day.
