Wales – Day Two

Second day in Wales and we had a full day visiting some wonderful places.

First stop was Solva a lovely inlet harbour. The tide was out and we had a couple of nice walks along the estuary sides. Then onto St David's, somewhere I've always wanted to visit but never been.  The cathedral was very impressive and we spent some time wandering around and taking photos; this is the ceiling of the main chapel.  Later, after morning coffee, we went round the ruins of the nearby Bishops Palace.

We travelled round the Pembrokeshire coast to small harbours and beaches including Porthgain finally ending up at Strumble Head which has a lighthouse and dolphin lookout point, we didn't see any :-(
