Blackcap in the blackthorn

Yet more bird-life from Coffee Pot Wood. I spotted this lovely little blackcap when I was doing housework today. OK - so I was peering through the windows trying to spot a "different" bird, and not actually achieving much in the way of anything.
Two of these little beauties were hopping about amongst the blackthorn that we can see from a spare bedroom window (this is the "3 litres of sloe gin in 2015" bush that I mentioned recently).
Every time a blue tit arrived he chased the blackcaps off. They spent most of their time hidden amongst the blossom, so I was delighted when this one popped out for a few seconds. I liked the blossom shadow on his back too.
Back to the housework now then.
