View from the Bulrush Pond

We went for a lovely walk today around some woods not far from us. We had hoped that the bluebells would be in fine fettle. They are almost there - but a few days off their best yet.
This is a little pond at the edge of the wood, and there are some super bulrushes there, covered in a fluffy down at this time of year. I  took quite a few shots of them, then I thought that if I changed my f-stop, I could get in the bright yellow rape, and the tower behind as well. I actually thought it was a church until I looked at the photos, then I realised that it is someone's house.
