Pasque Flower

Pulsatilla (probably vulgaris). Tufted hairy perennials at their best in Alpine meadows. We have good memories of finding them in Switzerland and Austria. A good reason to be pleased that they flourish in our limestone garden.
Often the flowers are purple but I particularly like the colour of this one.
