Sitting room

This is the second of my two rooms in my "suite" in the Bellevue Hotel, Vienna. I put it in inverted commas, because you associate having a suite with being in a really posh hotel, but this was not posh at all. It had a certain unreconstructed just postwar character. More like some of the semi-renovated hotels I've been in in the EU's new Member States, although the plumbing was definitely of a higher standard. But it was fine. A decent night's sleep.

I didn't try the breakfast on Thursday morning, as I had to go and meet someone for a breakfast meeting.
