Barking

This magpie was hopping around the branches, stripping off bits of bark. I presume that it was searching for insects.

In the evening we went out for Mum's birthday meal. Feeling pretty immobilised after finishing with the sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce, chopped dates and clotted cream. Diet tomorrow I fear.
