Early Morning

After so many grey and dull mornings it was such a pleasure today to get up to sunshine.  We decided we'd spend the day in the garden as it was such a beautiful day, but first we'd have a walk along the canal just to get a bit of exercise   -  (spending the day in the garden doesn't necessarily mean there'll be activity.)

This is a different stretch of the canal to the part I usually go to, and it made a nice change; it was such a glorious morning and so good to be out.  Many other people  had the same idea but that didn't bother us at all  -  there were many cheery greetings and it seemed as if the sun had put a smile on everyone's face.
