Pictorial blethers

By blethers

Blue, blue ...

And yes, the gold of the gorse in this view of Loch Striven. What you can't see, and what I feel I always fail adequately to show, is the paler yellow of the primroses that litter the verges and climb through the birch wood beside the road, and the odd rewarding glimpse of violets, and you can't hear the birdsong and the demented squawking of startled pheasants. (Startled? They almost give me heart-failure as they start up from beside us as we walk...)

A perfect day, on which the car told us it was 18C in the sun when we returned to it after a good two-hour walk.
