Sunday shopping

Mr P and myself went into Leeds today . We drove to Hyde Park near the university then caught the bus into the centre, much cheaper than the expensive parking in the city.

We bought a bag to fit on his bike for his forthcoming cycling trip in Europe. Then I bought a new iPad and a phone!

Having spent up we made our way up Briggate, which was once a main thoroughfare of the centre but which has long been pedestrianised. On Sunday's there is often a food market set up there and we meandered along it as we made our way to the bus stop. We saw our favourite bread stall and bought some sour dough bread ( the only type Mr P is allowed to eat)
and a slab of focaccia. We also bought a Morrocan mint plant to grow for making mint tea. Im going to put it next to the back door so it is handy to pluck for a quick cuppa!
We caught the bus, then drove back home to eat chunks of bread and manchego cheese with patatas bravas and bean
soup, double delish!
