The Norwegian (376) storms Tenterden Bank

Back on the railway today as Crossing Keeper at Cranbrook Road. The Wealden Pullman was operating today and here it is lifting the train up Tenterden Bank with energy and style. Was rewarded for my service with soup and roast potatoes as I was last week. Very much appreciated.

I've several shots from this location of engines working up the bank from Rolvenden to Tenterden. They have to be shot long distance as I'm supposed to be manning the crossing not taking photos!

The 8 hours on duty passed in a flash and before you knew it, it was time to lock the gates and the hut and come home. A lovely sunny day but very cold in the wind. The trains ran on time which is always a benefit when in the hut or in the signal box.
