Old Metal Signs

9.4C starting cloudy then becoming clear and sunny in the afternoon. Light breeze.

After shopping this morning we decided that we would wait until after lunch to go for a walk in the hope that the cloud would clear.

After lunch we took Maeve the Deerhound for a walk and it was still cloudy. We went up to the church then continued out along the country road towards Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. We came back along the cycle path and went down to the beach at Westhaven via the level crossing. The cloud was finally clearing above the shoreline and the tide was almost fully in but there was still a wide strip of beach to walk along to the fishermen's huts where we noticed these two colourful old metal signs which have been placed in a window of one of the huts.

We walked along East Row then came back over the road bridge over the railway line and then back up the main road and round to home.

Later there was F1 on the telly with another convincing win for Lewis Hamilton and a great race by Ferrari to finish second in front of the other Mercedes car.
