Male Orange Tip Butterfly

A walk by the canal in the next village was lovely in the sun despite the chilly wind.

I saw this orange tip and a comma, my first spring sighting of both butterflies plus the first jack in the pulpit I've seen this year. There was also  swallow skimming over the water which was lovely to see.
