Arches and windows....

*back blipped*

Out like a light last night - such a good sleep!  I think the wine and brandy may have helped somewhere along the line....

Up reasonably early, breakfast and then Iain and I took charge of my nephew for the day while my brother and his wife headed into London for the day.

We packed up the buggy and jumped on a bus into Kingston for some lunch and a mooch about (the queue for the only record shop we saw was way round the block, so we opted not to take part in Record Store Day), then headed over to Hampton Court for the rest of the afternoon.

The blossom was out, the heat of the sun filled the air with the scents from the flowers, and Bert bloody loved wandering round the courtyards, he laughed and laughed.  Is there anything better than hearing an 8 month old laughing?  I think not.

After a few hours wandering HC (with borrowed flip flops from my sister in law), we walked back, via Bushey Park, where there were loads of deer lazing about up the trees.  No sign of Max Ellis though -  he'd probably been out for his blip as the sun was coming up.

Back at the house Mr B was fed, washed, cuddled and put to bed, and then his Mum n Dad arrived back from London Town with Record Store Day goodies for us from Berwick St.  Nice.

A takeaway, wine, tv, yawning and bed - in that order.
