Good Friday indeed....

Once the car was finally loaded (I think we need to invest in a roof box), we headed off down to Da Shire to see my Mum.

Gorgeous weather - clear blue skies and sunshine. Fab!

After we were fed and watered, we headed along to Drumlanrig Castle for the afternoon. The kids loved it - spending ages rolling down and then running up the hill at the side of the castle.

The late afternoon and evening was spent with friends (who came over to see us), eating good food (Mum had prepared a feast) and drinking lots of wine.

Perfect.
