Temptation

I took the car into Oban this morning to have a wheel bearing checked out and popped into the local garden centre to buy a bottle of glasshouse shading.

They'd just had a new consignment of plants in, so of course I bought several; various primulas, meconopsis, cordylines and a vinca. It proved to be an expensive bottle! 

Tomorrow a few of us from the British Pteridological Society - the Fern Club - are going to Ascog Fernery on the Isle of Bute to help the new owners sort the place out. Should be fun!
