Barred Owl

I had a completely other blip decided on from amongst today's various photos, but then just as we were getting our dinner sorted, the husband looked out the kitchen window and said "Holy S**t!" There, down by the creek in a very small tree, sat a Barred Owl. I've heard them in the woods around the house before, but never ever once set eyes on one. Day made!
