Emergency blackout blip

Last night an East Coast low formed off the coast and then hit hard. We have had cyclonic winds, trees are down all over the place and there is flooding. Further inland they have had 462 ml of rain in the last 24 hours. We have had probably close to 200 here. My house is on a hill so I am safe from the flooding although had to drive through some on my way home. There have been three deaths in Dungog and as I type this the winds are picking up. I have no power since 5 am. I am safe and so are the Hs. I am not expecting the power to go on for a few days. All we need is a tanker to beach itself and we are right back to 2007. My thoughts for those in much worse conditions than I am.
