So here, for the benefit of anyone who needs reminding doesn't actually care in the first place, is a quick resumé.

There's a woman who makes cakes.

Then there's her dreadful ex, who managed to weevil his way back into her life, but has been been carrying on with umpteen other women at the same time.

And there's a scary mother. And her indiscreet sister, her ineffectual restaurateur cousin....and his terrifying waitress.

Lastly (but definitely not leastly) there is a very intelligent cat.
