The Satsumary!

What is it?  It is a lean-to, a greenhouse, a reading and writing room, a place to potter, to knit, to contemplate crosswords, to dissect bird pellets, to sit in and admire the garden and watch the birds.  It is where we now eat lunch and sometimes tea, where we catch the evening sun and where Ollie lies basking in the heat of the day!  

Mike built it over the back door and it opens onto three steps that go up into the garden.  There is plenty of room for the rocking chair and my granny's old kitchen chair and we have filled it with plants!  It is going to be the room of choice for the summer!

It would like to be a conservatory but it is too small and not really grand enough, so we like to think of it as a tiny orangery, or in other words a satumary!
