Flower fields

Yesterday's blip was the pickers so today's is the flowers. I managed to get out of work a little early so drove a roundabout way home to find some more flower fields. South Holland used to be famous for its tulips and fields in full bloom were a marvel to behold. Tulip growing became less profitable so farmers turned to other crops including daffodils. The daffodils are usually picked with the heads closed so are less spectacular. This is the first time I have seen Sweet Williams growing round here.
