Roof cats

There is a rather nice old farmhouse about a mile down the road from us, and close to it there is an old farm building with a thatched roof that has been converted into a residence.

I have walked past it many times but never before noticed these feline adornments to the thatched roof. It is one of the most rewarding aspects of the search for a daily blip that I find myself spotting no end of things I would otherwise probably not notice.
