Log Freuchie

Bonnie bonnie banks

On this beautiful afternoon my friend June and I took her dog, Fudge, for a walk down to the nature reserve near Ross Priory on the banks of Loch Lomond.

We were sitting on a bench having a flask of coffee and a piece of shortbread when eight Canada geese made their way across the loch to keep us company.

Fudge didn't show the slightest interest in them - all she wanted was for someone to throw her stick into the water for her to retrieve. The observant amongst you will see the stick mid-air.

We had the place to ourselves. In the background is Conic Hill and behind it Ben Lomond.
