Ballot Box

This morning, a cold wind blew in from somewhere and made us all shiver and then I was felled by a migraine. All was not lost, however, as I enjoyed most of the Fibre Fabric and Thread exhibition at Gracefield and a nice walk with D later on to post his vote. The exhibition is only put on every three years and runs until the middle of May so I shall go again. There is a wonderful variety of quilting, embroidery and (my favourite) spinning, weaving and dyeing. All done by women who must have a few hours extra in their days or else need very little sleep.
The sun is shining now and everything is psychedelically green outside (or maybe that's the migraine).
