Back to Spain...

Left the UK yesterday (this is a back blip) from Manchester Airport - weather was definitely on the change. We always have a coffee at Caffe Nero if there is time (which there was). Monarch had changed the plane last minute and we were put on an Airbus 330 - big plane with a 2-4-2 seat configuration (but you probably knew that). Great flight, very smooth - slept most of the way. Good landing apart from it being a bit of a boneshaker rattling all the way down! Then into baggage reclaim.. As well as our three suitcases we also brought two big parcels which are the two halves of an exercise machine for eldest daughter now living in Spain. Monarch are fine with transporting strange objects provided we cross their palm with silver (which we did). I like Alicante baggage reclaim - there are always interesting adverts - haven't a clue what this one is about (the goldfishes) - no words on the ad whatsoever.
