Forget-me-not

The forecast rain came - but not  quite as heavy as I for one expected.  So I was able to get out into the garden to clear up some more of the shrubbery cuttings (another full wheelie bin to go out next week), and plant out the rest of the plants bought a few weekends ago.

The garden is full of blues, yellows and oranges at the moment.  Most of the blues come from the forget-me-nots that have freely seeded themselves around. They come up reliably every year - mainly in the veggie bed, which causes me some consternation when it comes to plant out vegetables as  hate to pull them up, especailly if they are stilll in bloom.

This little study is a sprig hanging over the pond, which still has little dew drops from the rain.
