Jay for June

Another bird shot today - I've seen jays visiting the garden often (attracted, no doubt, by the oak tree) but in the last few days, this one has been getting braver and coming to seek out the seeds under the feeder that have been discarded by the finches.

Like yesterday's dunnock, he's looking a little scrawny and scruffy, but I was just pleased to catch him on camera, as he's really skittish...

I know my bird shots are far from perfect - but being inspired by so many other blippers makes it easy to keep practising ;-)
