Not even a half marathon

Got out early in the beautiful sunshine and, with good underfoot conditions, added a bit more to my Nine Mile Burn circuit by going up East Cairn Hill (the highest point on the skyline), making it 18 km with 750m climb, but introducing some really rough terrain.

Didn't see a soul until I reached the drove road where there was even someone else out running. Got the usual buzz out of finishing by flying down the Monk's Rig!

Managed to get some gardening done between the hail/snow showers in the afternoon: I cut the grass and planted a hosta, and Miss K and Grandma made up hanging baskets. Planting the plum tree will have to wait, though.
