Stepping Out Over The Hodder .

A big thanks to chrisF for jogging my brain about the Trough of Bowland , especially The Inn At Whitewell  & their amazing Kippers . Weather was super, kippers absolutely 1st class and they put a poached egg on mine. Now the stepping stones are many in number and you may well say easy but waiting as I am for two lots of orthopaedic surgery they were a challenge. Having decided the worst that could happen was a dunking and more bruises I went , made it , had a rest and came back .Whoopee. Then for coffee and hot scones .( no will power) and off to explore other villages . Met some great folk along the way and saw flowers a plenty , splendid scenery .The lambs were delightful to watch . Thanks Chris .
