I donated blood at the Blood Drive at school on Friday. I was afraid I was going to be one of the people who would pass out after donating but luckily I wasn't.  I walked into the gym and signed in and everything and after that I got my iron checked and blood pressure checked and stuff. Once I was good with that and answered the questions on the computer I was ready to start the real stuff. A lady took me over to the beds and checked out with arm she would take the blood from. Then she had me lay down and put the stuff on to see my veins. She stuck  the needle in my arm and it pinched a little and I was fine. It took me 5 and a half minutes to ge tout a pint of blood. I'm glad I decided to donate.
