breaking the rule

It's not 8:30am. Or pm.

It's 9:30am.

After last night's late bedtime, the weeWeir slept until 9:15. 9:15! What a result. But the sun is out and that's a good reason to get up and have breakfast outside.

I love that these strawberry plants are looking like they'll produce some more fruit this year. Hopefully the weeWeir and friends won't eat them all like last year. All five of the strawberries that made it.

After a good morning at KCC, it was home and a quick turnaround to get a train into town. Running the mile from home to the station in the middle of a properly (+20degC) warm day was fun. Actually, the reaction of fellow passengers on the train was better.

Anyway, into town, downed 1.5 litres of bottled water and into the Whisky Stramash to enjoy some samples and catch up with Dr Liddle.

After a few hours in the sample rooms and in the sun, to the Liddle home and our families (who'd been playing in the sun), some fine food and then we went home for bedtime.

Also time to prepare for a visitor arriving tomorrow. A kiwi Clark will be on her way from Italy. Which is nice.
