Küchenschellen
These have several names in Englisch like Dane's Blood, wind flower, prairie crocus, Easter Flower, and meadow anemone. All I know is I saw them when I got home and thought "Lets have a go at blipping them".
Couldn't do it outdoors as it has been tipping down all day, I suspect the sky was commiserating with me about going back to work.
The commute to work was dead easy, about the same amount of time from the old flat to work. Can't complain.
The homeward journey was a bit different. The bus goes through Dotzheim, an area of Wiesbaden with old narrow streets. They've tried to direct the traffic so that it flows as best it can but there are a couple of places where things are tight.
The first one of these is where traffic coming up the hill has to give way to traffic coming down the hill and bearing left. One of the many brilliant drivers* we have here decided that their Mercedes was going to exercise its inbuilt right of way and piled into an oncoming car. Right on the junction. And another brilliant driver ran into the back of the Mercedes.
I got out and walked. Not bothered about the rain, just get me away from Idioten.
If someone causes an accident like that, they should lose their license for a minimum of a month. Twice, 3 months. More than that and the license should be ripped up. Same if you're caught on your mobile in a car.
Now I'll just look at the Küchenschellen and concentrate on breathing.
*you know, the ones who drive through fresh red lights on their mobiles because they are, in their own opinion, congenital retards Brilliant Drivers.
