Purply Magnolias

The restaurant yesterday was very, very German.  For a start, it closed at 9 - none of that sitting around talking malarkey (unless you ate at 4).  The portions were HUGE.

I ordered Schnitzel with a mushroom sauce, salad and fried potatoes.  I received a plate with 2 schnitzels covered in about a pint of mushroom sauce, a huge bowl of potatoes fried with onions and bacon and a side salad that came in something the size of a bucket. 

We won't be regular visitors but the service was really good and the atmosphere was OK (it was pretty full, so I suspect they have a lot of regulars).

We came home and watched the Lego Movie which was pretty funny.

Sunday.  Hmm. It's going too fast and it's still oppressively clammy out.
