Goldfinch

Too many phone calls to and from friends and family tonight, so little chance to post my blip or comment on others.  Feel I am lagging behind, so must make more effort to catch up:-)

A visit to Perth today for odds and ends, but too cold to linger long.  Made a surprise purchase which delighted my husband, but will tell you about it another time.

In between hail and snow showers, we had a welcome visit from at least four goldfinches, which is the first sighting of them here this year.  They are such beautiful and exotic looking birds, aren't they?
