Rocks in the river

Mrs TT does not like the lime green kitchen we inherited so I finally succumbed to her request to paint all the cupboards and doors.  I removed them all this morning and they are all arranged flat in the workshop ready for painting tomorrow.  I finally managed to pin the painter down to a date to repaint the basement utility room which has water damage.  He agreed to come on the 1st June six weeks after his initial estimate!  In French conversation we discussed some 'strange but true' stories.
