Compensation

Taxiing kids across Edinburgh to violin lessons at rush hour isn't fun, but when you arrive and it's a fine evening there are compensations. I remember this as my first view of the New Town - when a van load of runners from Dundee failed to get onto the ring road on their way to Galashiels!

Rather ashamed to be regretting frosted bedding plants yesterday when there are bigger problems in the world.
