Before....

This was taken this evening through the kitchen window, using my mobile phone.
It is a 'before the gate widening' shot.

I've spent all afternoon removing a huge shrub, a rose and masses of primulas and bulbs. Goodness knows where they're all going to go but I'll think about that later.

I want to incorporate a large part of the garden that we can't see and make it more usable. My idea is to take out the wooden gate and remove 3 feet of the wall. If I then lay new turf between the two gargens, it will double the size of usable space.

Mr E isn't convinced it's a good idea. We'll see!
