Topsham Mud

I took Lady M to the airport this morning. She's off to Edinburgh to visit Frances for a couple of days. I stopped off at Topsham on the way back. It's a pretty little town on the bank of the Exe with lots of interesting architecture but somehow it frequently disappoints photographically. The tide was well out today so there's miles of mud. These old hulks are on the other side of the river in Exminster. The little building behind is Topsham Lock Cottage at the start of the Exeter Ship Canal.
