Back, Front and Sideways

From every angle, this male chaffinch looks beautiful.

And today I'm trying out the 'extra' feature to post a female chaffinch. She's sitting down with her legs folded under her, holding a feather, and looking as if she's forgotten what she was going to do next. Made me wonder if she's heavy with eggs ... and planning to line her nest.
