Is it vulgar?

To hang your knickers on the washing line?

Believe it or not, this was a story in the Daily Mail this week. Unbelievable for 2 reasons, firstly that it was considered newsworthy given what else is happening in the world right now and secondly that anyone should think so, but maybe that is just a male perspective. I almost feel obliged to do a bit of research and peek over the fence to see what the neighbours are hanging out to dry. I'm not sure what I'm more afraid of seeing, a racy G string, or a big pair of comfortable 'apple catchers'. Maybe this is the issue for the ladies, Both have a place in their smalls draw, but they don't want the neighbours to know about either. I wonder if they buy several pairs of 'normal' undies just to hang on the washing line whilst the ones that actually get worn are dried indoors?

Only 7 weeks to go till the London to Brighton cycle ride. That's come around quickly.
