Nature's colour scheme.

Yesterday I blipped a human colour scheme in the houses along the harbour at Tobermory. It was not too difficult to photograph and I was pleased that many people liked the result.

But capturing nature's colour schemes can be much more difficult. This morning in bright but breezy conditions we walked the Southern half of Iona. A real treat. The colours of grass, rock, sand, sea and sky were constantly changing as the sun moved in and out of clouds. The sea in particular had turquoise patches which kept changing in intensity.

This was all a challenge for photographers. Much harder than the coloured houses. Here is one of many attempts. I would give it a "C" so please don't say it is fabulous. Critical comments or suggestions for doing better would be appreciated.
