Croome Court

A view along Robert Adam's Long Gallery at Croome Court in Worcestershire, which is currently undergoing extensive renovation.

The figure to the left of the window is not an original 'grisaille' but one of a set of modern information panels in the 'antique' style put there by the National Trust about significant figures in the development of the house and its surrounding parkland. This panel features Lancelot 'Capability' Brown: the park at Croome was his first ever piece of landscape design.
